These are the chords I have come up with for Petite Mort (so far).
I really like this song, but unfortunately there aren t any tabs or chords online.
What you see here I have figured out by ear. I m sure I made mistakes.
I m hoping that this will give more talented musicians than I a place to start from.
Maybe together we can figure the whole thing out!
Note: The chords in this song change quickly, especially during the verse.
Tuning: Down One Half Step
All chords shapes relative to tuning (when it says C, you play it like a C in
first position but it s really a B)

Verse 1
Petite Mort, I asked you for an answer
Petite Mort, I sang until you slept
Petite Mort, you took yourself, you bastard
Petite Mort, now sleeping s all that s left
You took apart the sympathetic angle
When you catered to the bitterness inside
Aligned yourself with depths I couldn t handle
A million daily deaths before you die
Chorus
Gathered a bouquet
Roses and posies
and straightened my tie
When I got there, you were nowhere I could find
Verse 2
Through layer after layer of subconscious
I hunted for a reason in the woods
I tore apart the map and started backwards
I couldn t picture living there for good
I left you there to finish setting fires
I left you there to propagate your lie
I left you there cos honey, I was tired
I left you but that doesn t make it right
Chorus
I remember your bedroom
Ivy and clover
You kept me alive
Knives drawn, the butcher world waited outside
Outro
Petite Mort, I asked you for an answer
Petite Mort, I sang until you slept
Petite Mort, you took yourself, you bastard
Petite Mort, now sleeping s all that s left
